I don’t know… what’s your take on this?
I watched a clip saying: “If they know you, they won’t support you. Familiarity kills respect. They see your history, not your growth… so they go silent.” And honestly, there’s truth in it.

But I’m also cautious of the cynicism: silence isn’t always jealousy. Sometimes it’s confusion, distance… or even stewardship—people who want your work to be sturdy don’t always clap loudly. Some pray. Some watch for fruit.
I share my thoughts in this week's journal entry on Omosa titled "Familiarity, Silence, and the Steward’s Way
". Read it here - https://www.omosa.co.za/familiarity-silence-and-the-stewards-way/
Do you think the silence is usually jealousy… or usually something else?
Lekker week ahead.
