The Psalm 112 Man You Were Made to Be
Sometimes it honestly feels like the world is shouting opinions about what a man should be but less about what Man should be. The noise comes from everywhere – social media, our own insecurities, even the expectations of those we love. If we’re not careful, we can spend our whole lives chasing a version of man-ness that was never ours to begin with, leaving us feeling empty, exhausted, and disconnected from our true purpose.
I know this because I’ve walked that road. In fact, parts of me still are. For years, I tried to piece together my identity from the scraps the world offered me. But by God’s grace, I was woken up and shown that He had a different plan. He had a blueprint for my life that was far more solid and satisfying than anything I could build on my own or with whatever anyone else thought.
With this book I want to share my version 1 of a Blueprint of becoming a Psalm 112 Man, not as a guru, but as a fellow traveller, a born sinner who is still on the path – still learning and still in awe of the God who guides us.
In the heart of the Bible, Psalm 112 paints a powerful picture of the man who seeks God. It references a man whose life is aligned with his Creator. He is a man who:
- Fears the Lord and Delights in His Ways
- Is a Light in the Darkness
- Has an Unshakable Heart
- Builds a Lasting Legacy
This is a picture of true strength – a Man built on a rock-solid foundation.
I will share how the Audacious Humility Codex (AHC), a simple, practical framework for making this journey of transformation real in our own lives, uses a simple, repeatable rhythm to help us cooperate with the work God wants to do in us: Assess, Hone, and Commit. It’s a tool for turning the vision of the Psalm 112 man into our lived reality.
